With the whole world seemingly obsessing over this unprecedented situation and each of us quickly become amateur virologists, biologists and immunologists, scrambling around to learn more and more about COVID-19, I wanted to take a minute to inform you of the proactive measures Optimus Search have taken to ensure the health and safety of our employees, but also the processes we have implemented in order to allow us to continue providing you with the very best possible service. 

The vast majority of our service offering will remain completely unaffected and each member of our staff has now been geared up to work remotely for the next few weeks, remaining on hand to support our candidates and clients in every capacity. Whilst you may experience slight delays in communication or find our phone lines a bit busier than normal, we will always endeavour to respond to any calls or emails within a couple of hours but ask that you remain patient in any instances where you experience a delay.

In these instances, we would also ask that you first contact the member of the Optimus search team that you were last in contact either via email, telephone or Linkedin or failing that you can also contact us via our social media channels or directly via email to our main inbox [email protected]   

Our Operations and Technology team have worked diligently around the clock over the past week to ensure that we are able to continue running processes virtually, and this has ensured that we are able to provide our clients with not only virtual meeting spaces but also the ability to conduct video interviews and calls without the need for face-to-face interaction. 

Whilst we do expect a slight drop-off in activity over the coming weeks, we are still working with a large number of businesses who are continuing to hire, and our priority remains to help to support them by putting in place alternative processes that can keep their recruitment drives in motion.

Naturally, our consultants will be in frequent contact with all candidates who are currently in the process to update them on the current situation or any change to the interview process, particularly with regards to virtual interviews. 

In the coming days, our Marketing Team will also be sending out additional information regarding how some of our clients are navigating these new challenges to hopefully help inform others of the best practices being implemented industry-wide, as well as offering up virtual Q&A sessions to help implement these practices.

They are also working to provide a range of comprehensive guides covering the challenges that you may face in the current climate and these will be distributed in due course. 

So to summarise, we’re are operating ‘as close to business as normal’ as we possibly can, and remain here to support you with any hiring or job-seeking needs you may have.
